Job Summary

We are looking for a hungry, high-energy Sales Development Representative to join a fast-growing startup revolutionizing the commercial waste management industry. This company provides a much-needed, reliable solution for restaurants in the DMV area to manage used cooking oil collection. As an early-member of the sales team, you will be the engine of our growth, reaching out to restaurant owners and managers to solve critical operational headaches like overflowing tanks and missed pickups. This is a high-volume, high-impact role for a self-starter who excels at cold calling and wants to help build a brand from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting with a target of 130+ connected calls per day.
  • Engage restaurant owners and managers to introduce our reliable oil collection services.
  • Qualify leads and identify pain points related to their current waste management providers.
  • Accurately manage and document all lead activity, notes, and progress within HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine scripts and outreach strategies in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proven experience in high-volume cold calling.
  • Fluency in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in HubSpot (Must-Have) and Google Workspace (Must-Have).
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high activity levels without constant supervision.
  • Strong resilience and the ability to handle rejection with a positive, persistent attitude.
  • Availability to work within EST hours

Nice-to-Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in SDR
  • Experience using Apollo.io for lead sourcing.
  • Familiarity with Slack for internal team communication.
  • Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
