<h2>Senior Security Consultant – Microsoft Defender &amp; Purview (Hybrid, CABA)</h2><p>📍 Buenos Aires, Argentina – Hybrid<br>🏢 Project for Avanade | Tech Transformation<br>🕘 Full-time | 9:00 – 18:00</p><hr><h2>About the Role</h2><p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Security Consultant</strong> with strong hands-on experience in <strong>Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview</strong> to join a large-scale technology transformation initiative.</p><p>In this role, you will design, implement, and operate advanced security solutions focused on <strong>threat detection, data protection, compliance, and information governance</strong> within the Microsoft security ecosystem.</p><p>You will also provide technical leadership to small security teams while helping improve cybersecurity operations through automation and best practices.</p><hr><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p>Design and implement <strong>security solutions using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Monitor and respond to security incidents across Microsoft security platforms.</p></li><li><p>Support <strong>threat detection, investigation, and incident response activities</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Implement <strong>data protection, compliance, and information governance policies</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Lead and mentor small technical teams (2–5 engineers).</p></li><li><p>Develop and automate operational security processes using <strong>PowerShell</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity operations.</p></li><li><p>Ensure alignment with security frameworks and risk management standards.</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Required Experience</h2><ul><li><p>4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with <strong>Microsoft Defender security solutions</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience with <strong>Microsoft Purview (compliance, data governance)</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Experience working in <strong>security operations environments</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Experience leading small technical teams.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of:</p><ul><li><p>Threat Modeling</p></li><li><p>Incident Response</p></li><li><p>Security automation</p></li><li><p>Risk management and compliance frameworks</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.</p></li><li><p>English level: <strong>Intermediate to Advanced (required)</strong>.</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Nice to Have</h2><ul><li><p>Experience automating security processes with <strong>PowerShell</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Experience in enterprise Microsoft security environments.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Microsoft security architecture and governance models.</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Work Model</h2><ul><li><p>Hybrid model: <strong>1 day per week onsite</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Location: <strong>Parque Patricios, Buenos Aires</strong>.</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Project Details</h2><ul><li><p>Client: <strong>Avanade – Tech Transformation Program</strong></p></li><li><p>On-call rotation required.</p></li></ul><hr><h2>Apply Here</h2><p>If you have strong experience with <strong>Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, and enterprise security operations</strong>, we would love to hear from you.</p>
