We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end logistics operations. This role is responsible for strategic planning, transportation and warehousing management, cost control, and ensuring efficient delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Operations
- Design and implement an optimal logistics network to support business growth.
- Develop transportation and warehousing strategies that balance efficiency and cost.
- Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes.
Storage & Transportation Management
- Oversee warehousing, storage, packaging, loading, and unloading operations.
- Coordinate transportation scheduling for finished goods and materials.
- Ensure smooth and timely movement of goods across the supply chain.
Performance & Cost Monitoring
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure on-time delivery and high service levels.
- Identify opportunities to reduce transportation and operational costs.
Supplier & Carrier Management
- Evaluate, select, and manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs).
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and freight rates.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Customs & Documentation
- Manage customs declarations and import/export documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and regulatory authorities.
Order Management & Customer Service
- Convert customer orders into production or supply plans.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.
- Handle logistics-related complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.
- Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Risk management awareness and decision-making capability.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required), Chinese is a plus.
