Your Role

As an Intake 1 Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients. You’ll combine a sales mindset with empathy to guide families through our homecare offerings, collect and verify all necessary data, and hand off enrolled clients to our onboarding team. Your accuracy, patience, and rapport-building skills will ensure a seamless experience and drive our growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Outreach & Qualification: Conduct outbound and inboud calls to prospects, explain Vitasya’s homecare services, and qualify needs.
  • Information Collection & Verification: Gather personal, insurance, and medical history details; ensure data accuracy.
  • Enrollment Guidance: Present program benefits, answer questions, and guide prospects through enrollment steps.
  • Data Entry & Tracking: Enter all client information into our EMR/system with high accuracy; track status in the pipeline.
  • Follow-Up & Conversion: Proactively follow up on pending applications to maximize conversion rates.
  • Collaboration & Handoff: Coordinate with the onboarding team to ensure smooth transition of newly enrolled clients.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere to healthcare regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of client data.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience & Call-Center Skills: 3+ year in a call-center or customer-facing sales role is preferable.
  • Comfortable making and receiving high volumes of calls with patience and empathy.
  • Proficient in objection handling, active listening, and adapting to varied client needs.
  • Language: Native-level English speaking and writing. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Technical & Organizational Skills: Comfortable with data entry and basic CRM/EMR systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of state Medicaid waiver programs advantageous.

Prior healthcare, social services, or community-health experience a plus.

  • Work EnvironmentOn-site in Obarrio, Panama City, Panama. Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (EDT/WST). Company-provided computer and all necessary tools. Mentorship and guidance to support your professional growth. 

Responsabilidades

  • Realizar llamadas salientes y entrantes a prospectos, explicando los servicios de atención domiciliaria de Vitasya y calificando sus necesidades.
  • Recopilar detalles personales, de seguro e historial médico, asegurando la precisión de los datos.
  • Presentar los beneficios del programa, responder preguntas y guiar a los prospectos a través de los pasos de inscripción.
  • Ingresar toda la información del cliente en el sistema EMR/CRM con alta precisión y rastrear el estado en el pipeline.
  • Realizar un seguimiento proactivo de las solicitudes pendientes para maximizar las tasas de conversión.
  • Coordinar con el equipo de incorporación para asegurar una transición fluida de los clientes recién inscritos.
  • Adherirse a las regulaciones de atención médica y mantener una estricta confidencialidad de los datos del cliente.
