We are seeking an experienced and service-oriented After-Sales Service Engineer to support our technical service operations across the Home Appliances and Air Conditioning product portfolio. This role is responsible for providing technical expertise, troubleshooting support, product training, and after-sales service coordination to ensure high customer satisfaction and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide technical support for home appliances, consumer electronics, and air conditioning products.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to installation, operation, and product performance.
- Support service centers, technicians, distributors, and authorized service partners with troubleshooting and repair guidance.
- Analyze recurring technical issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- After-Sales Service Operations
- Support and improve after-sales service processes to ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor repair quality, turnaround times, warranty claims, and technical service KPIs.
- Coordinate with spare parts, logistics, and service teams to improve operational efficiency and parts availability.
- Assist in developing service procedures, repair standards, and technical documentation.
- Technical Training & Service Capability Development
- Conduct technical training sessions for technicians, service partners, and internal teams.
- Prepare troubleshooting guides, technical manuals, and service training materials.
- Ensure authorized service partners maintain required technical and operational standards.
- Product Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with quality, product, and engineering teams to identify field issues and improve product reliability.
- Analyze failure trends, repair data, and customer feedback to reduce warranty costs and improve service performance.
- Support technical evaluations, product testing, and validation activities when required.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with customer service, logistics, sales, and product teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Support new product launches by ensuring service readiness, technical preparation, and training execution.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across technical and service operations.
- Product Knowledge Requirements
Technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following categories:
- Air Conditioners (RAC & Light Commercial AC)
- Refrigerators
- Washing Machines
- Dryers
- Dishwashers
- Microwave Ovens
- TVs and Consumer Electronics
- Small Domestic Appliances
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in after-sales service, technical support, field service, or appliance repair operations.
- Experience within consumer electronics, home appliances, or air conditioning industries is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of appliance systems, diagnostics, electrical components, and repair methodologies.
- Experience working with service centers, technical partners, and warranty processes.
- Ability to analyze technical data and identify root causes of product failures.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; Power BI or service management systems is a plus.
- Intermediate or advanced English proficiency required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, reports, and documentation in English.
- Availability to travel when required.
Preferred Background:
Candidates with experience in multinational consumer electronics or appliance companies are highly valued. Experience supporting White Goods, Brown Goods, and Air Conditioning products within regional service environments is considered a strong advantage.
Responsabilidades
- Proveer soporte técnico para electrodomésticos, electrónica de consumo y productos de aire acondicionado.
- Diagnosticar y resolver problemas técnicos relacionados con la instalación, operación y rendimiento del producto.
- Apoyar a centros de servicio, técnicos, distribuidores y socios de servicio autorizados con orientación para la resolución de problemas y reparaciones.
- Analizar problemas técnicos recurrentes y recomendar acciones correctivas y preventivas.
- Apoyar y mejorar los procesos de servicio postventa para asegurar alta calidad de servicio y satisfacción del cliente.
- Monitorear la calidad de las reparaciones, tiempos de respuesta, reclamaciones de garantía y KPIs de servicio técnico.
- Realizar sesiones de capacitación técnica para técnicos, socios de servicio y equipos internos.
- Colaborar con los equipos de calidad, producto e ingeniería para identificar problemas en campo y mejorar la fiabilidad del producto.
- Analizar tendencias de fallas, datos de reparación y comentarios de clientes.
- Apoyar los lanzamientos de nuevos productos asegurando la preparación del servicio, la preparación técnica y la ejecución de la capacitación.
